Sergipe Map

A map of Sergipe, showing where it is in Brazil

Sergipe is the smallest state in Brazil and produces King Wood, a highly sought after commodity during colonial times. The state was briefly controlled by the Dutch before Portugal retook control. The state has wide expanses of savannah, but the coastline is more swampy with mangroves and rainforests. The main export is orange juice.
