TREE FROGS

A tree frog's main claim to fame is their toes -- they are roundish and give off a gluey liquid that allows them to climb and cling to, you guessed it, trees!  They spend most of their lives up in the trees, usually coming down only to mate.

They tend to be quite small (they can usually sit comfortably on the tip of a person's finger).

European tree frogs used to be the local weathermen -- when the frogs croaked it meant rain was coming.
