Cheetahs are part of the species, Felidae, in their own unique subspecies, Acinonychinae.
Male cheetahs can live together but interestingly, female cheetahs do not live together and remain solitary throughout their lives when they are not raising cubs.

Cheetahs are the fastest of all the Felidae!
In fact, cheetahs are the fastest of any land animal, running anywhere between 95-120 km/h! They can accelerate faster than most cars too, going from 0-100 km/h in well under 5 seconds.
