The Flag of Wales

Wales is sparsely populated, especially in the middle where heath and mountains dominate. Much of the population lives on the South coast where the two largest cities Swansea and Cardiff are. The country has a rich industrial history, with extensive mining operations occuring as recently as the 1970s. Farming and tourism are two major industries with large nature reserves and beautiful beaches. The country has its own language which comes from celtic and is spoken as a first language in many areas and taught in schools.
